We are seeking a Booking Senior Sales Manager with hospitality experience, who is skilled at managing various market segments. This position will manage Homestead's Sales Department, including supervising and mentoring the sales team members.

If you're an experienced Sales Manager at a smaller hotel/resort property, and are looking for a growth opportunity, this is for you. 

Sales Experience at a hotel or resort is required.

This position will be responsible for development, solicitation, & maintenance of top accounts in all market segments to meet or exceed budgeted goals, and for the management of all aspects of the Sales & Catering Department at the Homestead resort.

Experience with Wholesale and Government groups is preferred. 

Essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Produces sales plan and manages rooms, catering, F&B, and recreational amenity revenue streams

Works with the General Manager, sales, and operations teams to execute yield management and revenue management strategies to maximize revenues, profitability, and utilization of property

Develops and executes sales budget

Manages, motivates, mentors, & coaches sales team in presentation skills, account development & strategy, needs assessment, relationship selling, and closing deals

Participates in property marketing efforts including advertising production; scheduling and placement; collateral materials production; public relations; and maintaining community relationships such as area Convention and Visitor's Bureau

Travel across the U.S., attending Sales conferences and other functions in order to acquire new clients and bookings for the property

Serves as a member of the resort's Executive Committee

Requirements for this position:

Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of sales in the hospitality industry.

Sales Experience at a hotel or resort is required.

Sales Manager experience.

Must be willing and able to travel for up to two weeks at a time particularly during the months of May & June
