Located in Midway, Utah - just minutes from Park City - Homestead Resort is a beautiful historic resort located in the Wasatch Mountains. The Night Auditor/Secuirty Agent is an important member of our team, ensuring that all guest needs and questions are resolved with the highest level of guest service during evening shifts as well as daytime check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring that all buildings are secure and unauthorized personnel are not allowed on property. (Shifts will vary.) Must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends (including Sundays), and holidays, as needed. This is an overnight shift, with the typical shift being 11:00pm to 7:00am.
Essential Functions of the Night Auditor position include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of all property receipts.
•Maintaining guest service standards at the front desk at all times.
•Following cash handling procedures as outlined by the accounting department.
•Collecting payment at check-out in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
•Performing all end of day front desk and night audit functions, including reviewing cashier audits for accuracy, balancing credit card postings to computer system, maintaining computer database integrity daily, and auditing of master bills.
•Completing express check-out in a timely manner.
•Completing the daily sales report and issuing to all departments.
•Preparing all computer systems for the following day.
•Ensuring accurate and timely backup files / tapes are maintained on a daily basis.
•Preparing, balancing, posting and distributing all necessary reports on a daily basis.
•Contacting management and security in emergency situations.
Essential Functions of the Security Agent position include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Ensuring all buildings and guest areas are secure.
•Ensuring no unauthorized personnel are allowed on property.
•Solving guest-related problems within scope of authority.
•Recording security log and sharing with the appropriate Executive team members and the Director of Facilities.
•High school diploma
•Minimum of 6 months job-related experience
•Previous hospitality experience strongly preferred
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Basic accounting/math skills
